Intumescent Pipe Wrap
Product Description:
Intuchem Intumescent pipe wraps react to fire by swelling rapidly and expanding inwards to crush and close a softening plastic pipe, completely sealing it to stop the spread of fire, smoke and hot gases.
The pipe wraps contain flexible strips of a high performance intumescent material heat sealed in a polythene sleeve.
Application is for wrapping around plastic pipes that pass fire rated compartments such as masonry floors and walls.
Intuchem Intumescent pipe wraps have Certifire approval and are tested to EN & BS Standards and have upto a 4 Hour fire rating.
Intuchem pipe wraps are cost effective, simple to fit and because they
are wrapped in a polyethene sleeve are unaffected by moisture, humidity
or frost.
Pipe Wraps come available in many standard sizes to suit eg. 55, 82, 110, and 160mm diameter pipes with up to 4 hour rating and 200mm with 2 hour rating.
