Fire Resistant Mortar
Product Description:
Intuchem fire resistant mortar is a one part synthetic mortar which when mixed with water produces a pouralble or trowelable mortar compound for the sealing of floor or wall openings to stop and seal the passage of fire and smoke.
Additional services can be easily added through the mortar and resealed with further mortar. Where plastic pipes pass through the mortar, Intuchem Pipe Wraps should be used.
The seal is a strong and non combustible and can be made load bearing.
A 4 hour fire rating can be achieved with a 100mm thickness, 2 hours rating at 75mm and 1 hour with a seal 50mm thick.
