Product Description:
Intuchem Fire Rated Luminaire Hoods are tested to halt
the passage of smoke and fire through a fire rated suspended or modular
ceiling, where recessed luminaire systems are in place.
Without a luminaire fire hood fitted, fire and smoke
would penetrate through the recessed light fitting in seconds spreading
into the void or room above endangering both lives and property.
The Luminaire Hood will provide 60 minutes fire rating by completely
containing the fire and smoke within the hood, whilst at the same time
allowing the heat from the light fitting to dissipate through the hood.
Tested to BS Standard 476 part 20 & 23 clause 5
The Intuchem fire hood meets the requirements of class 0 materials and
is Certifire approved.
