Working with Fire Putty
Estimate the number of turns required = Annular Gap (mm).
Clean all loose material and foreign matter on the cable and within
the opening.
Remove the release paper and wrap putty firmly on the cable to the
required depth and number of turns.
Pull cable gently through the opening and mould the exposed face flush
to the wall/floor surface ensuring no visible gap is present to the
naked eye.
Inspect the workmanship of the barrier, and maintain records of material
identification, seal depth, fire barrier, date of installation etc.
to required quality standard.
If cable trunk is involved apply putty inside the trunk to the same
seal depth as outside
