Fire Pillows (intumescent)
Product Description:
Intuchem Intumescent fire pillows will on reaction to fire will expand and then harden to provide a durable and complete seal to stop the spread of fire, smoke and hot gases. They are manufactured from a tough specially treated glass cloth containing a mixt of mineral fibres and reactive expansion agents.
Intumescent Fire Pillows can be used for creating either temporary or permanent fire barriers and are ideal for sealing cable trays and ducts that penetrate fire rated structures.
Intuchem intumescent fire pillows have Certifire approval and are tested to EN & BS Standards and have up to a 4 Hour fire rating.
Containing no asbestos or halogens so therefore can be specified for
use in areas such as exchanges, computer server rooms and in areas where
services are continually being modified.
Tested for Wall penetrations up to 600 x 600mm with a 4 hour rating
Tested for Floor penetrations up to 850 x 850mm with a 2 hour rating
