Product Description:
Intuchem Intumescent pipe collars will, on reaction to fire, rapidly swell up and expand inwards to crush and close a softening plastic pipe until completely sealed to stop the spread of fire, smoke and hot gases.
They are manufactured from a steel shell, housing a high performance intumescent material and finished with a powder coating for long term protection.
Intuchem Pipe collars are tested to EN & BS Standards.
The intumescent collars are compact and straight forward to install and give a maintenance free option for closing pipes in many types of buildings where plastic soil and waste pipes pass through fire compartmentation structures in walls and floors.
Available in a range of sizes to suit pipe diameters
from 32mm - 355mm.
